Ten on Tuesday

1. Gavin and I are sick - coughing, fever, runny noses sick. I don't know where we got it as Gavin got sick on Sunday and I got sick on Monday. I'm guessing I brought something home from work. Somehow, praise the Lord, Corwyn doesn't seem to be getting sick. He has been all smiles and even slept 8 hours last night to give mommy some rest! I keep forgetting and kissing his sweet head, then having to get a washcloth and swipe him down and the hopes of removing my germs. HOWEVER, he is fussy tonight, so sleeping in the Moby on my chest. I really don't know how he can not get sick with my coughing right next to his head. )-:

2. We attended Molly's 1st birthday on Saturday - it was a great time, complete with a pinata! Fortunately no one got smacked with a stick and no furniture got broken (they did this inside!!). Tom and Emily are far more brave than I am! It was also nice to pass Corwyn off to friends for a bit.

3. Two weeks since returning to work - it has been difficult, but I'm mostly glad to be back. I'm having a bit of a motivation problem, but am mostly getting through the day doing my job. I also realized that I'm approaching 2 years doing the same thing, and that is about as long as I ever last... boredom has set in. )-:  Hopefully a new opportunity will present itself, although I am slightly nervous that if I change jobs every 2 years no one will want to hire me... I just have to promote my "wide range of experiences"...

4. Corwyn is almost always sleeping "through the night" now. For us, that means 6-8 hours. This is amazing and wonderful. He wakes up, eats, and then is all smiles! Sometimes he goes back to sleep immediately, sometimes he likes to smile and talk to momma or play in his play gym when I need to get ready for work. He also adores his mobile. I can frequently put him in bed when he's just starting to get tired-grumpy, turn on the mobile, and he'll smile and talk to it until it stops, then close his eyes and sleep.

5.Great book we read for girls' book club: The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen. I highly recommend it.

6. Chrissie and Eric are having a BOY in May - so Corwyn will have another honorary boy cousin close to his age! So cool! I'm very excited for them.

7.well, its gonna be 7 on tuesday because Corwyn is fussing.... maybe pictures added later. maybe.
