Riding on the train

CJ and I have started on a trip to visit his cousin in Austin. We are riding the Amtrak train. He was excited about boarding, but rapidly started panicking about leaving Daddy, the bounciness, noise, etc. we tried walking, but that didn't work. I broke out the tablet and we watched a show and he calmed down. Afterward we snacked, looked at cows, read a story, and now he seems to be napping on my lap. This is VERY early for a nap, but maybe he will nap again later! We have a very long day ahead of us.
