Nov 5- daycare that C loves - this makes it easier to drop him off each day. There are things I would do differently if I were in charge, but the important thing is that he is loved and well cared for here. He is making friends, learning, and growing at an astounding rate!
Nov 6- democracy and my country. So blessed that we have peaceful elections, even if the lack of amazing options can be frustrating!
Nov 7-I'm thankful for what patience I have, though I could always use more. Especially on days when everything seems to result in a melt-down of epic proportions. Inhale.... Exhale...

Nov 8- frozen dinners - adding some yummy additions and able to cook and eat at a reasonable time while watching a toddler... If it weren't for this, I'd either subsist on hamburgers or starve.

Nov 9- technology- while frustrating at times, enables me to connect with family and friends in so many ways (like this blog!). It also allows me to track my own progress and goals more easily. This morning I ran and instead of just feeling slow, I can see my improvement and hear my progress AS I run. I find this very motivational!
As you can see, I'm not very fast, but it makes me feel good. (-:

Not very fast? We're you running a mile in 7.5 minutes? To me, at is Very fast. I am super happy when I make it to 10 minute miles!! All about perspective:)
ReplyDeleteLOL - the actual and max speed it shows is not very good because my arm moves and that messes it up. My average speed was about 11 minute miles. I also am very happy when I make it to 10 minute mile.
ReplyDeleteI was about to say the same thing as Abbey. Still 10+ min miles are great. I'm happy to be at 11 now after a couple of years of working towards it.
