This is a long overdue post, but here are some pictures from CJ's Bug Themed Birthday Party Dec. 2.
We decorated bugs made out of egg cartons with pipe cleaners, do-a-dot markers, glitter, pom-poms, stickers, etc. The do-a-dots worked best.
Mud Pie for cake with plastic bugs on top and gummy worms inside. It was a definite hit!
I mixed one package chocolate and one package vanilla pudding with one package Oreos crushed.
Pineapple Juice and Lime Koolaid. I froze some gummy worms in ice cubes and put them on the side.
Turns out previously frozen gummy worms are nasty, though. So be warned...
These were very yummy snail wraps -
green tortillas, pesto mixed with cream cheese and tomatoes, and deli meat all rolled up.
The kids of ALL ages decorated bugs.
