May Flowers

Chrissie, Eric, and Serenity came to visit us the second weekend in May. It was lots of fun, even though I was on the edge of being sick and Gavin was pretty beat, too. We played lots of spades, read lots of kids books, and took a trip to the park. Serenity got introduced to Cocoa and Caramel, and was fascinated by the toe-licking that followed.

At the park behind our house, Gavin discovered that he could comfortably stand in the funny climbing ladder on the playground. Eric found he could NOT stand comfortably... Not pictured, but Serenity found that it was fun to strangle Jennie with her camera.

Cari is a cutie. She objected to the fact that I was taking pictures of flowers and not paying attention to her!

Cocoa miraculously put up with me taking more than one picture of her!

My flowers have been blooming like crazy so far this month. The pink Lillys are going crazy right now. Cocoa has been trompling them, unfortunately, but even when smashed to the ground, they still seem to grow and bloom.
