Johnny Appleseed

At sailing camp there was a meal blessing we sang that we believed always made it rain. We've got some rain today, and the words are running through my head:

The Lord is good to me,
And so I think the Lord,
for giving me the things I need:
the Sun, the Rain, and the Appleseed.
The Lord is Good to me. Amen. (DIG IN!) (-;

We'd change the words sun, rain, and appleseed depending on what we wanted. For instance, the sun, the sun, and the sun... or the rain, the rain, and the rain. I'll admit that a few times this summer I sang this prayer to myself with rain, rain, rain - well, it is good that a little rain is finally here.
