July has been a fun month - we bought a car, we have been to several birthday parties and a baby shower, and we had an entertaining trip to the zoo with lots of friends!

At Abbey's baby shower we created a super cute Fairy House for the baby's room (somewhere on a high shelf for a few years I would imagine...). Everyone brought natural bits and pieces for the house. Tink even has a sweet sea shell bed inside! We also enjoyed lots of food and scrapbooking.

On July 3rd we bought a new car: A Subaru Forrester in Sage Green. It is pretty sweet - and definitely an upgrade from Gavin's little red neon. Although we do miss the bright red sometimes! I still have problems finding it in the parking lot.

We plan to take it up to New Mexico for its inagural trip.

Allie Hopper and Serenity Wainright both celebrated their first birthdays! We drove to Tulsa for Serenity's, but I forgot my camera. Serenity had a cute barnyard birthday and we all did the barnyard dance. Allie's birthday was the next weekend. Her theme was the letter "B" becuase her nickname is "Beanie" and it is her favorite letter.

We went to the Oklahoma City Zoo with the Wainrights and Richards. The kiddos got pretty worn out, but they had some fun. We got to see the bears right up close while standing in the air conditioning (I think that was the best part).
