January - visit to Austin

I try to make it to Austin to visit my Grandmother for her and my Dad's mutual birthday most years. So we drove down for the weekend and had a nice visit with some of my family. Especially nice since I didn't get to see them at Christmas, and that is always hard. Unfortunately, Greg and Sarah had left for Mexico the week before!

Nanny really enjoyed the cake! After celebrating with her we went out to eat at Pappa Deaux! MMM!

(Some joker rearranged the candles... Nanny is 94 and Dad is 59!)

We enjoyed the trip and look forward to the next excuse to celebrate!
