this week...

Somehow every week just seems like another similar week... until I really start trying to remember the details. Perhaps it would be better to do a little blogging CLOSER to the actual events, but this also gives me the opportunity to think back and remember...

Last weekend was very busy. Saturday morning I got up and went to the Farmer's Market, we spent 1.5 hours finishing up our registry at Babies'R'Us (YAY DONE!), and attended Allie's birthday party! Sunday... well, I was busy recovering from Saturday.

Pics from Allie's Party:
Allie's Favorite gift was a pony!
She also really loved taking the tissue paper and tossing it around!
After all the presents were opened the kids played in the pool and a slip and slide!
Kids included Will and Scott... just because they were almost as long as the
slip and slide didn't mean they'd be left out... Gavin and Brent stayed Mostly Dry.

Everyone loved having wings!
Also this past week (or so), we bought what will most likely be baby boy's home-coming outfit:

I've also been a big online-shopper this week. I bought some new maternity jeans on Ebay for about $15 a piece including shipping (so not crazy cheap, but much better than what I could get new). I also bought this:
Project Life. I think it will be a fun addition to my normal scrapbooking activities - and give me something a little easier to put together once I have a lot less free time in 5 months...! I blame Abbey for getting me hooked on a scrapbooking blog that mentioned it...! (he he, thanks!)

Also this week: Friday was the girls' bookclub night. It was great food and great company. It was also some very stimulating conversation... (-;

Last thing I want to mention is how wonderful my husband is! He is going out of town without me for a few days starting tonight... so while I was off partying with the girls last night, he prepared 3 days worth of dinners for me so that I won't have to cook alone and I can still have healthy, delicious food! He is a super sweet guy...

  1. Great post! I'll be fascinated to see how project life goes. It is one of those big projects that I'm tempted by , but haven't tried yet. Maybe you can tell us a bit about it as you go through it as I'd love to hear your experiences. Hope you have a great week!
