December Daily 6

Winter is my least favorite season. Lets face it, I'm pretty much a grinch when it comes to winter.  I dislike the darkness, the cold, the lack of greenery, ice and snow, skiing, woolly mittens, coats, scarves, boots... etc. You probably get the idea. However, there are some silver linings when it comes to winter - hot chocolate and fires. Since technically I have hot chocolate nearly year-round (but with a definite uptick in winter), this means fires are just about the only thing I love about winter specifically. We've had a couple of fires so far, but last night it was quite chilly and we celebrated by eating and drinking by the fireplace. I enjoyed my first glass of wine in about 9 months, and we stayed quite toasty and relaxed all evening.
